The 1st annual Comergence meeting was held in February 2011 during the Black History Month (Mois de l’Histoire des Noirs). It was a series of conferences followed by music and dance performances. Throughout the same month, a collection of photographs by IssamZ. entitled ‘Terre Mère’ was presented at the 4222 de la Gare, in downtown Québec city.
